How can I become more active in the Savage Chamber of Commerce?

The Staff and Chamber Board of Directors are happy to announce yet another year of exciting events, meetings and activities for our members!  However, we cannot do it without you. We have assembled a number of fun, energetic committees which are always in need of volunteers! The time commitment varies depending on the nature of the committee and how much time you feel you can put in! What are some effective ways I can market my business through the Savage Chamber?

We have many different ideas to assist you in promoting your business throughout the community. The Savage Chamber of Commerce offers everything from business name recognition via sponsoring Major Events, advertising in the Membership Directory and/or the Dan Patch Days Event Guide to hosting a non-structured networking event, such as Wake Up! Savage, Business After Hours or a Luncheon Grab N Gab, that bring people into your business!

As a Member of the Savage Chamber of Commerce, we encourage you to send us your current promotions so we can include them in our weekly e-mail blasts, monthly newsletters and on our website!

There are many ways to promote your business through the Savage Chamber of commerce – contact the office to let us know which marketing opportunity will work best for you!

The Savage Chamber Membership Directory – when does it come out? And how do I advertise in it?

The annual Membership Directory is updated in the first quarter of each year.  The directories are published in March and are distributed by the early April timeframe.   Please contact the office as soon as possible to express your interests in advertising.

What is the cost to get information in the Monday Morning E-mail under Member-To-Member? How often can I put this information in?

There is no cost involved to have us include any announcements, specials or deals that you would like to promote to other Chamber Members in our Monday morning e-mail. We do ask that you limit your “specials” to a once-a-quarter so we can ensure all members have an equal opportunity to take advantage of this service! All specials or information that you would like to share with other members needs to be received by the office, copy ready, by Thursday morning prior to the Monday it goes out!

What is an Express Pass?

An Express Pass saves you time and money during our Month Member meetings! Your Express Pass admits you to all 11 of our monthly meetings for the price of 10! The Express pass also eliminates the need to carry a check or a credit card to every meeting! The Express Pass is good for one year January – December, but it can be used for more than one person. 

Do I have to RSVP for the Monthly Member Meetings? Even if I have an Express Pass?

YES! We in order to ensure we have the proper space and meal count, we request that members respond to each monthly member invitation. Please keep in mind that if you RSVP and then cancel, you will still be billed for the lunch and/or Express Pass will get punched.

What is a Wake Up! Savage?

Hosted by Chamber members in their place of business for other members of the Chamber.  The focus is on networking and making business connections.  Wake Up! Savage is held from 7:30 – 8:30am periodically throughout the year.

What do Gab & Grab Lunches and Business After Hours entail?

Members are given the opportunity to host these informal events as a way to promote their business to fellow members.  In turn, attendees get a chance to learn more about a variety of industries and make business contacts, all while socializing with fellow business owners.  Gab & Grab lunches usually take place between 11:30 – 1:00pm, and Business After Hours are usually between 4:30 – 6:30pm periodically throughout the year.
