Victor Yermishkin

Victor has been an active member of the Savage Chamber of Commerce since 2004. He has been a Board Member since 2006 and has served on different committees (Ambassadors, WinterFest) since 2005.  Victor is a Branch President at the Prior Lake office of New Market Bank since April 2008.  He has worked in community banks in St. Paul and the Savage area since 1999.  He has been a volunteer Russian interpreter for the City of Savage since 2005.  Victor has served on the Board of Directors at West 7th Community Center in St. Paul from 1999 to 2002 and Grand Avenue Business Association (GABA) from 2002 to 2004.  Victor’s goal for the Chamber would be to help with the growth of the Chamber membership, financially support Chamber activities through the business he represents and participate in membership recruitment efforts. He wants to help local businesses to grow and be successful by using the Chamber resources.

Heather is an attorney for ESCH, and has been an active Chamber member and volunteer since joining the Chamber in 2000.  She has previously served as a member of the Board of Directors, Vice President and as a member and Chair of the Program Committee.  Heather enjoys her active role in the Chamber welcomes the opportunity to serve the Chamber members for an additional term because she believes her previous experience with the Chamber is a valuable asset that would help the Chamber in continuing to meet and enhance the needs of its members.

Doug is an experienced consultant, facilitator and trainer at all organizational levels. He specializes in the implementation of change management, process management and continuous improvement systems. He has proven ability in coaching leaders, internal consultants, and teams on the use of Six Sigma, team methodology, and data analysis skills to improve business performance. To name a few, Doug has designed and deployed a Six Sigma implementation for a casual dining restaurant chain resulting in over $65 million dollars in cost savings in the initial three year period. He has designed, coordinated and delivered several leadership workshops focusing on leading business performance. He has led and coached a team of field restaurant employees on reducing their cash over/short obligations exceeding over $700,000 in improvement. Doug sees the Chamber as a vehicle to facilitate the future business growth not only in the City of Savage, but also in our neighboring communities. As a small business owner, he feels he understands the importance the Chamber plays in supporting all local businesses while creating an environment that allows members to promote and support each other; ultimately making Savage not only a better place to work, but a better place to live.

 As a resident of Savage for the past eight years, Sean looks forward to aggressively promote the interest of the business, professional, and community members.  He is a CPA with Copeland Buhl & Company working to assist clients in achieving their financial goals.  Sean’s past Chamber involvement includes being the Treasurer, working on the golf outing committee and a luncheon speaker.

Nick has been an agent with American Family for four years.  Prior to that, he was a corporate trainer for five years.   Nick has been an active member of the Savage Chamber of Commerce for four years.  Currently, he is on the Board of Director, is an Ambassador, and is on the spring fundraiser committee.   Nick is an adult volunteer with Scott County 4H.  He has also been a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity for eight years.  Nick would like to continue to serve on the Savage Chamber board of Directors to oversee the operations of the Chamber.  He is an active participant and sponsor of the Chamber and its activities.

 

David Fong Jr.

David Fong, Jr. has owned and operated D.Fong’s Chinese Cuisine since 1996, joining the Savage Chamber that very same year.  In the past he has served on the golf committee and has represented the chamber at Dan Patch Days Celebration by chairing the Taste of Savage.  His parents have always stressed staying involved in the community and David enjoys continuing that tradition. 

 

 

Stefanie Hurst

Dr. Stefanie Hurst is an optometrist with the Family Vision Clinic in Savage.  She has been an active member of the Savage community and on the Chamber board the past six years.  Stefanie’s hobbies include tennis, golf, water-skiing, reading, and spending time with her husband, daughter and newborn twin boys.

Nicole Maxwell is the Branch Manager of Associated Bank which is located in downtown Savage. She has been helping her customers achieve their financial goals for over ten years. Nicole has been an active member of the Savage Chamber of Commerce since 2008. She currently is an ambassador and has been on the Winterfest committee the last two years. Nicole is also a volunteer for Junior Achievement, a financial literacy program that helps prepare young people for the real world. Nicole is excited about being more involved with the Chamber and looks forward to the opportunity to network more with fellow businesses to help the Chamber and community it serves grow.

 

Nancy Porter

Nancy Porter is a Realtor® with Edina Realty in the Prior Lake/Savage office specializing in residential real estate. She strongly believes that the Chamber is a vital component in the building of a strong community and is the key element for uniting businesses together with the residents. Nancy also serves on the Chamber’s Program Committee and volunteers for Dan Patch Days. She volunteers regularly for various other programs supporting School District 719, the Prior Lake Soccer Club, the Gymnastics Booster Club, and contributes to various other community events.

Nancy is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University and has been a resident of Minnesota since 1991. She lives in Prior Lake with her husband Brett and three children.

Jill Ryan

Jill Ryan is a personal banker with KleinBank in Savage.  She has over 30 years of personal banking experience, serving the areas of Savage, Prior Lake and Burnsville. Jill has thoroughly enjoyed being a chamber member for nearly all 30 of the years she has been in the banking business and is a past Savage Chamber Board Member and Treasurer.  Jill has also served on a number of Chamber committees, with the most recent being, the Holiday Fundraiser Committee.  Jill feels that being a 40+ year resident of Prior Lake, combined with her lengthy employment history in Savage, enables her to have a unique understanding and insight of the community, its business members and make a genuine contribution to the Savage Chamber. 

 

Barry Stock
City of Savage -City Administrator

Barry Stock is the City Administrator for the City of Savage, a position he has held since 2002. He has been with Savage since 1997, having served as economic development director and deputy city administrator. Prior to joining the City of Savage, Barry was an assistant city administrator for the City of Shakopee, where he worked for 13 years.

 Barry’s government career started when he was a seasonal parks and street employee in high school and college, leading him to attain an undergraduate degree in Urban Studies from the University of Minnesota and a master’s degree in Urban and Regional Studies from Mankato State University.  He’s worked in nearly every municipal discipline, providing a varied perspective that’s proven valuable in his current administrative role. 

Barry is a tireless community advocate and volunteer, having served as president for two different chambers of commerce and the local soccer club, as well as co-founding Shakopee’s community festival. In 2002, he was named the Savage Chamber’s Business Person of the Year. Today, he is the secretary for both the Savage Rotary and the Dan Patch Days Board of Directors. 

Barry and his wife, Lorna, live in Savage and have five college-aged children- all boys. Barry’s outside interests include refereeing soccer, spending time at his cabin and working out at Lifetime Fitness.

Jason M. Trout

Jason Trout is the President/Owner of JMT Mortgage.  He has been a resident of Savage since 2002 and enjoys what this community has to offer.  He is excited to become more involved in the Savage Chamber.  Jason is looking forward to expanding his network by building relationships with local professionals and earning their trust with his honest communication, friendly personality and business experience – all of which make him successful today. 

 
 
Lori Anderson

Lori Anderson and husband Pete have lived in the community since 1997. They have 3 children; Ben, Sydney and Madalyn. Lori has been a stay at home mom since her youngest child was born, but has been a very active volunteer in the community and her children’s school district. She has organized, planned and co-chaired many events and committees that she has served on. Lori has a degree in Sales, Marketing and Management, and prior to being at home with her children, worked as a Food Broker for approximately 10 years. She is very excited about her position as Executive Director for the Savage Chamber of Commerce. Lori feels she is a strong and enthusiastic advocate for the city of Savage and is committed to helping businesses and organizations benefit from what the Chamber has to offer.
